The Egyptian Exchange and Chapter Zero Egypt Launch Strategic Collaboration to Enhance Climate Governance and Sustainability with Aluminium Company of Egypt (Egyptalum) 17-11-2025.

 

A high-level panel discussion titled "From the Boardroom to the Trading Floor: Integrating Sustainability Principles into Boards" was hosted. The discussions focused on raising awareness among board members and executives of listed companies, providing them with a practical vision for designing and implementing effective sustainability and climate strategies. The emphasis was on strengthening corporate governance to manage sustainability and climate risks, addressing transition challenges such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and leveraging emerging opportunities through the Egyptian Climate Exchange (EGX) and sustainable finance instruments. The session was moderated by Ayman Salah, Founder and CEO of Chapter Zero Egypt, and featured a distinguished panel of speakers:

The speakers emphasized the growing role of boards of directors in building resilient business models capable of addressing climate challenges, and the necessity of capitalizing on available opportunities for sustainable transformation and bolstering the state's efforts towards a sustainable, low-carbon economy.
